Tucked along Gore Creek

Cascade Village

A quiet enclave west of Lionshead with its own chairlift, anchored by the Grand Hyatt Vail.

Character

The feel of the place.

Cascade Village sits apart — west of Lionshead along Gore Creek, wooded, low-key, and self-contained. The Grand Hyatt anchors the neighborhood with a spa, dining, and ski valet, and the bike path into the villages runs along the creek.

Architecture & housing

A mix of hotel-adjacent condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes in the trees. Properties here often deliver more interior volume per dollar than the central villages, with the lift still steps away.

Mountain access

The Cascade Lift (#20) loads directly from the neighborhood — a genuine ski-in position without village crowds. The free bus and creekside path connect to Lionshead in minutes.

Ownership considerations

Hotel-connected buildings carry their own service and rental structures; standalone homes offer simpler ownership. As everywhere in Vail, short-term rental registration is governed by current Town rules.

Assessments, dues, rental rules, and club access change; treat figures as of the date you verify them, not as fixtures of the place.

Rebekah's perspective

From working the market.

Cascade is my suggestion for buyers who want lift-served convenience and quiet in equal measure — it is the neighborhood people underestimate until they spend a night there.
